The Ultimate Gift

Our family loves giving to others and one another. We are so happy that there is a special day to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.  We celebrate with prayer, study of the Bible and gifts.  My favorite are gifts from the heart. Like the year my daughter, Kristina, made individual cards (business size) out of construction paper and stickers. She wrote on the inside of each card a message to me of her love. This gift is enjoyed continuously as the years pass.
The year my two birth daughters put together a book with special customized cards featuring the favorite Bible verse of each child and grandchild.  Joe and I both cried, as I do just thinking about the  blessing!
Recently we were given handmade books ice cream recipes and pictures, family pictures and the favorite recipes of our family members spreading five generations and then the fun photo story books, I have one for Logan, Taylor, and Logan and Ashley. These personal items enjoyed every year are my favorites. Gifts from the heart.

A gift from the heart is the Ultimate Gift- God gave us a gift from his Heart, in the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
A gift that lives on each year, day by day, second by second. For he lived among us physically and taught all that we need to know to be at peace and filled with Joy.Christ died for us on the cross after excruciating torture; yet, he lives now over two thousand years later, he lives in hearts, minds, and souls. May we always be aware of his sacrifice a gift of great love and more importantly with a purpose of giving us redemption. We are forgiven for our transgressions past, present, and future. He lives in my heart, my mind, and soul. I am aware of him in all aspects of my everyday life, Praise and Glory be to our Father, the creator, the Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, within me and around me, teaching me and comforting me.          Pure JOY!
